The establishing of multi-language training center and Multi Language community, skills park transit campus here, the founder said that lack of practical training after completing formal education, in any sector, is causing difficulties. In a civilized society, not just in higher education sector, but in all kinds of labour sectors, there should be provision for skills training and job opportunities for the trained.
Along with the necessary education, students should also be trained in multiple languages by which the possibility of job opportunities will increase, he said. Though students have some knowledge in English language, they may not possess the necessary communication skills which can cause difficulty in getting jobs. Also, knowledge of English alone may not help in many countries, which is why additional skills acquisition program (ASAP) has come up with multi-language training centres including Japanese, the founder said.
He said that ASAP should identify countries where job opportunities are available and offer training in respective languages of those countries. We still need to build the skills parks to all cross over Indonesia. The skill parks that we have now are: Bandung, Bogor, Depok, Bekasi and Malang. While Batam, Surabaya, Padang and Jakarta will be completed soon, the founder added
