It took me back in 2022.
As Mr. H Kombes Thamrin Dahlan was to prepare the Second Year Anniversary of The Establishment of YPTD i.e. Yayasan Pusaka Thamrin Dahlan, along with him were me, Mrs. Dr. LetCol Nani Kusmiati and her son, Mas Galaxy Mega Pratama had a chance to visit The Perpusnas, Perpustakaan Nasional situated at JL. Medan Merdeka Selatan, next to Mrs. Nani’s office.
There we were met for the first time.
To be true, I felt related to her, as my late father was Serving the Navy as Marine Corps Service Man.
I can say, we were The Navy Family.
Even further, the more I knew her the more I felt related, as for years I’ve been named myself as informal English Teacher , while she is an English Teacher in the office.
From my point of view, Ma’am Nani has shown her “military stuff”: agility, determination, quick results any thing you need to prepare for an anniversary event.

I was trying to trace back to history, as I believe in the saying “your ‘writings’ is another signature of you”, I found something special about her.
She is no other than truly fighter of life.
How she manages to be single parent, how she overcomes difficulties to be ‘down- graded’, and “she’s back on feet again” to stance; all show that she is a True Navy. No wonder she gets everything on her grip.
Thirty eight years is I believe an intriguing life span for her. Ma’am Nani deserves this book “38 Tahun Pengabdian” comes to reality for sure.
I tried to find the starting point, I was a bit amazed that when I looked back, tracing the earliest was 20 August 22; it was when we were about to meet, i.e. for preparing the anniversary of the Couple Tjiptadinata at Perpusnas.
To me, that’s really fast run, hmm, compared to myself, even now I’m not going anywhere that far in joining the writing…
I’m in a hustle now.
